Last year, I signed my first children's book contract with Armour Publishing for a series of six titles. They are level 3 readers targeted at upper-preschool to early primary children.
The series, Nature Playtime, centers around Popo and her granddaughter, Emma. I'm proud to announce the release of the first book, The Saga Tree! At the back of the books, I share some hands-on crafting activities that parents, grandparents and caregivers can do with their children.
This book was a labour of love that began as scribbles on a page two years ago. It grew out of memories of my mom sharing with me her fascination with nature, and through observations of the special relationship between my mom and my daughter. I'm excited to see it finally in print!
